No. IDintake is a web app that runs in any modern browser, so there's nothing to download or install. For one-tap access you can add your custom link to your device's home screen, and it will open just like a native app.
When you subscribe, you receive a custom form URL unique to your company (it's also shown in your dashboard). Share that link with the collectors in your organization so everyone works from the same form. Per our Terms of Service, your link is licensed to your company and shouldn't be shared outside your organization.
Not on a standard single subscription — each plan is licensed for one collector's link. If you have multiple collectors who need to run appointments at the same time, you'll need a team plan. Get in touch through the contact form below and we'll help you set one up.
Yes. After the first load, IDintake runs completely offline — all form data, photos, and signatures are processed locally on the device. You only need a connection the first time you open your custom link.
Nothing is interrupted. Once the form has loaded, you can complete every step — details, photos, signature, and PDF generation — with no connection at all. Your data stays on the device the whole time, so a dropped signal won't cost you any work.
IDintake works on any device with a modern web browser — smartphones (iOS and Android), tablets, laptops, and desktops — using Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox. The layout adapts automatically to your screen size.
Either one. IDintake can capture photos from a laptop or desktop webcam just as easily as from a phone or tablet camera. You can also upload an existing photo from the device instead.
PDFs are generated locally and downloaded straight to the device you're using. Nothing is uploaded to or stored on IDintake's servers — from there you can save, print, or email the file yourself.
The PDF is a finished document, so no — it can't be edited once it's generated. However, because the data is stored locally on your device, pressing the back button brings back the information you entered. You can then edit it and generate a new PDF.
"Child (minor)" is a participant under 18; minors are not required to present a government-issued photo ID. "Child (Adult)" is an adult child (18 or older) being tested as the child in the case, and they provide a valid photo ID just like any other adult participant.
For a participant under 18, a parent or legal guardian provides the signature and consent on the child's behalf.
